Here I am on the Rogers Daytime York Region show. The Nutrition Month theme was smart shopping, a topic that’s easy to dig your teeth into! I did two back-to-back segments with 3 minutes in between. Boy was I sweating it clearing food from one segment to get ready and start smiling for the next. It all worked out great! I can’t say the same for the time I was on CBC national news and thought my fly was undone…oh boy!
For the last three years I have been proud to promote my profession through engaging TV, radio, print and social media communications.
“I have known Carol Harrison for years (probably decades, but who’s counting!) as a fellow well-respected RD who promotes good food and nutrition with messaging based on solid evidence through all she does. I had the pleasure and opportunity to work more closely with Carol when she volunteered to be a Nutrition Month spokesperson in the GTA for campaigns spanning 2014 and 2015 to today while I was running the campaigns during that time. Her enthusiasm, contributions and commitment to embody this role and raise her game was impressive. Whether she was being interviewed or taking part on a conference call Carol gives it all she’s got sharing sage ideas, pearls of wisdom and constructive feedback, she is a pleasure and a treasure to work with.”
